Articulate, well read and educated. I live on acreage but close to a small city. Like to keep a foot in both worlds. I am as comfortable in an old pair of jeans as I am in sequins for the symphony. Semi-retired with a schedule I can set to my own liking and spontaneity, but I still enjoy tutoring private students in ESL and volunteering back to the community. Have had a remarkable life free of drama and plan on keeping it that way. Enjoy being financially independent and all the opportunities that allows. Happiness is not something you acquire from a possession or person or circumstance, it comes from within. After being single for several years now, it would be very nice to meet someone to share part of the journey.

I started to say that the man I am "looking" for... but that sounds like I misplaced him somewhere! I haven't met him yet... but when I do, he will be at a maturity level where he knows what is really important and will have learned from life's failures and successes. He will be a good communicator and have a level of curiosity that will match my own. Won't be a couch potato, but will enjoy making use of it to watch a movie on a rainy afternoon and snuggling. Is spontaneous and never hesitant to show or receive shows of affection. Books and animals will occupy a special place in his heart, as hopefully, I will too!
