“Truth fears no questions.”

And isn’t that right!? When we are honest with ourselves and others, we aren’t afraid of questions because curiosity and inquiry will only get us closer to the truth.

Earlier in my life I was riddled with a mixture of shyness and shame that led me to keep my cards close to my chest. I would often tell partial truths or omit certain elements of true stories to avoid embarrassment or vulnerability. My dishonesty came from a lack of self-acceptance and led to unfulfilling relationships and a lack of self-respect.
