I’m also financially and emotionally secure... home with no mortgage , no baggage, no drama. My life is really great and I’m at a point where it would be nice to share my life experiences with another and also grow from your interests and experiences. I’m fond of beaches and oceans and love travel in exotic places as well as spontaneous weekend jaunts. I’m well traveled , (due to my career in the military), well spoken and intelligent but with a laid back jeans and t shirt attitude preferring bare feet on sand rather than shoes on concrete. I enjoy reading and read at least a little of a book almost daily . Due to my work, I have lived in several countries in different parts of the world totaling 14 years outside of the USA which was a wonderful gift as it opened my mind to new cultures and allowed me to have experiences I never could have imagined . These experiences have also made me independent which has its pros and cons in a relationship but I balance this well. It is difficult to find someone with my same attitude on life, one with a real sense of adventure and a love of life more powerful than the 9-5 job and daily grind; a true free spirit. I would love an equal minded partner with a similar attitude so we could share the rest of life’s adventures together .
I’m looking to start slow and not in too much of a hurry though . I believe the best relationships are founded on good friendship and it would be great to simply start off as friends so no pressure whatsoever . I’m currently nearing the end of my service in the army and looking forward to life post retirement ..
