I have been a soldier, a merchant navy officer, a high school teacher, a freelance sporting photographer. I have two adult children, three grand children and three great grand children. My family is important to me. I love animals and currently have one black and white cat, she very kindly allows me to share her home! I enjoy walks in the countryside and on a beach or river bank. I am a keen landscape photographer. I am actively seeking a soulmate and wish to marry again (first marriage lasted 47 years). I enjoy a wide variety of music from the classics, light orchaestral, big bands, folk, c&w to the hits of the 50s,60s and 70s. I'm told by friends that I have a wicked sense of humour. I am very tactile and was brought up to be a gentleman, how well I've done on that score is up to others to judge. I live in a two bedroom house in a fairly small historic market town and am just 25 miles from central London.
