Hi...I'm a transplanted West Virginian living in Ohio since college. Most of my career was split between teaching and newspaper reporting/editing. I love the outdoors. I don't hunt anymore, but I still like to fish, camp, or chill by a campfire. Currently trying to carve out a niche as a novelist. I've published four with a degree of success in the US and overseas. Music is a passion; I was a drummer for 40 years, played the Fender once in a while. And I LOVE to hit the open road with lively conversation and tunes. I've seen most of the US, parts of Europe, Mexico and S. America. My goal is to take old Route 66 from Chicago to Malibu Pier, with no time schedule. I also retreat to a cabin in the mountains back home if I get the chance.
